Seremban/Petaling Jaya, 28th January 2011: Continental Sime Tyre PJ Sdn. Bhd. (CST PJ) is proud to follow up with its commitment to the motoring public in accordance to the government's call on road safety.

"Working with the Ministry of Transport (MOT) and the Road Safety Department (JKJR), we are proud to say we have extended from the previous Hari Raya Road Safety Campaign in Seremban Rest Area to three locations for the Chinese New Year period with the main aim of promoting awareness on tyre safety to the motorists during this festive season," says Mr Sim Wee Chung, Head of Sales - PLT & Marketing of CST PJ. The 5-day campaign starts from 28th January until 1st February at 3 locations:

- Gunung Semanggul Rest Area (North Bound)
- Seremban Rest Area (South Bound)
- Temerloh Rest Area (East Bound)

As part of their corporate responsibility, they are continuing to educate the public on the aspect of tyre maintenance and safety in view of the government's aggressive call to reduce road accidents/road facilities during the festive months, following their initial exercise during the Hari Raya 2010 season.

"We further enhance our services by having a larger inspection area complementing with the tyre-changing facilities for motorists in need," added Mr Sim.

Datuk Suret Singh, Road Safety Department director-general, was present to officiate the launch of the campaign organized by MOT/JKJR/CST PJ.
